Share a Dashboard

Admin and Analyst roles can see all dashboards. Members only see dashboards shared with them (with either edit or view permission). To share a dashboard:


  1. Click the dashboard module to access your dashboards.
  2. Select the dashboard you want to share.
  3. In the upper right corner, click the three dots (⋯) > Invite.
  4. Enter the email addresses of the people you want to share the dashboard with. Click Add another to add multiple recipients.
  5. For each person, select a permission level:
    • View: The user can see the metrics on the dashboard. They cannot add or adjust filters, but they can alter the date range.
    • Edit: The user can view the dashboard and also add, edit, delete, and duplicate metrics, rename the dashboard, rename metrics, and rearrange metrics. They can also alter the date range but cannot add or adjust filters.
  6. If you want a user to be able to see the row data (i.e. the data points tied to individual employees), check the box next to "Can view row data." This option is available for both View and Edit permission levels.
  7. If you need to remove an email address you entered, click the trash icon
  8. Once you have entered all of the information, click "Invite" to send an invitation to the listed email(s) to access the dashboard.
    1. Note: Invitees will appear under Dashboard Invitations until they sign up. Once they create an account, they'll move to Dashboard Users.
  9. Important: Any filters applied to the dashboard before sharing are locked to Member roles — neither View nor Edit sharees can modify them.
